G3 Designs their Dream Houses
The big project in third grade this year is Dream House. During the Dream House Project, students become architects and are responsible for designing and building model houses. These houses will eventually be wired with circuits for real working lights.
We started off the Dream House Project talking about blueprints and measurement. Each student made a floor plan and found the dimensions of each room. After a quick discussion on scale and size, students began to measure out different shapes for their rooms. This is what we have done so far- stay tuned for more updates soon!
