Egg Drop is Here!!!!
Second grade finished off their unit on motion by looking at how objects fall. We watched videos (Letterman's famous "Dropping Stuff from Buildings"), experimented with parachutes and eventually created vehicles that would allow a raw egg to fall safely from the second floor to the first. Everyone worked so hard and although we had a few broken eggs in the end, it was tons of fun.
Final total out of 40: 20 survivors, 17 casualties, 1 missing in action...
