First Grade
This year, the first grade will come to KIDLAB in the fall and in the spring. Science in KIDLAB will follow the same topics that will be seen in the classroom. In the fall, students will learn about the weather and the seasons, learning how to measure and record the daily weather and look for weather patterns. In the spring, the first grade will start a unit on chemistry, learning the differences between solids, liquids, and gases. They will also learn about the life cycle of the buttery, during which they will watch the metamorphosis from caterpillar to butterfly in their classroom. I can't wait to get started with these wonderful scientists!
