The Fourth Grade Gets Scientific!
The fourth grade will come to Kidlab all year to build, experiment, create, and play. During the fall we will study the weather, learning how to measure and track it and building tools to help us do so. In the winter, the fourth grade will work on an earth science unit called Rocks, Minerals and Soil. Students will use their investigation skills to test rocks for properties and determine how and why they were formed. In the spring, we will all grow a green thumb as we start out unit on plants. Though gardening, dissections, and art, students will observe plant anatomy, behavior, and their importance in our world.
