Fourth Grade ROCKS the HNHM
To kick off the big geology unit in science, 4th grade teacher Ms. Baugher organized a trip to the Harvard Natural History Museum. Located in Cambridge, Ma, this incredible museum has one of the largest gem collections on the east cost. Students not only got to tour the exhibit (and the rest of the museum including the animal and fossil exhibits) but also took a class on rocks and minerals, hosted by the museum staff. The kids (and teachers) has an awesome time.
