What kind of scientist would you be?
During the school wide Identity Unit at NHCS, the third grade was asked to discover their scientific identities. We do science every day without even knowing it. We are meteorologists when we predict what the weather will be that day. We are biologists when we notice that our household pet likes one type of food over another. We are engineers when we figure out a way to fix a broken backpack without buying a new one. Science is hugely important in the world today so the third grade was posed with a question; "If you were a scientist, what kind would you be?" Based on the responses, I think we might have a few Nobel Prize winners in our future!
