K2 Explores Plants!
As we continued to learn about living things, we looked at what happens after a seed starts to grow. We carefully dug up some bean plants and looked at the roots that had formed under the soil. We noticed that some were long and some were short but that all of them were very fragile. We talked about the next steps of a plant's life (stem, leaves and flowers) and made some watercolor paintings of our favorite flowers. Some students even became teachers themselves and recreated my life cycle of a plant picture on the white board. We have such great scientists in K2!
