Your trash is our treasure!
The Recycle Center is one of the most used places in KIDLAB. Students love seeing what is new in the back of the room and how they can use it to make something awesome. After signing a glue gun contract promising to use the tools safely, students can let their imagination run while as they build and create everything from robots and cars to costumes and animals. Some of the materials found in the recycle center are donated by parents and staff members but many of the treasures are from EXCL, a clearing house in Dorchester that recovers tons of materials from being burned or thrown away and redistributes them for creative educational use.
