Seed Art
Moving on from animals to another group of living things, the K2 started their investigation of plants. Today we looked specifically at seeds, because many different plants start out as seeds. We saw that seeds come in many different sizes, shapes, and colors. We created artwork using these beautiful seeds. We also did some planting but we didn't use soil! We planted the seeds in a clear container with a damp paper towel. This way, we can see the seed sprout and look at all the parts that would usually be underground. Check back in a week to see how they look!
