Water, Water Everywhere
The fourth grade has been doing an in depth exploration of the water cycle. The water cycle is nature's way of cleaning and reusing water- its the earth's own way of recycling!Water has been around for millions and millions of years. The water that we see today on earth, that we drink and bath with, is the same water that was around when dinosaurs walked the earth. It is the same water that, hundreds of years from now, future generations will use for thier own survival. Water never goes away; it just changes form.Water's scientific name is H2O. H2O can be a solid (ice), a liquid (water), or a gas (water vapor) depending on its temperature. Water is found all over the earth, in lakes, streams, glaciers and even in plants and in the air. Through numerous experiments and explorations, the fourth grade learned about the steps of the water cycle and showed everything they learned in KIDLAB by creating water cycle posters. Check out the examples below!
