Mammals
As K2 continued with the living things unit, we started to classify animals, starting with mammals. Mammals are one group of living things. The group consists of animals that, with only a few exceptions, have fur or hair, drink milk, and are warm blooded. Mammals are found all over the world, even in the ocean (whales are not fish but are actually mammals!) To remind us that most mammals are covered in fur or hair, we created some furry fabric animals. Some are based on real animals, like the zebra and the tiger, but some are imaginary mammals. Are we mammals? What do you think?
