First Friday
On February 5th, 2010, KIDLAB worked with the parent council to put on a First Fridays celebration where families and friends could get together to eat, chat, play and this time, do science! Bringing back a blast from my past, I decided extend the rocks and minerals lessons from my fourth grade classroom and make pet rocks. Provided with paint, googely eyes, pompoms, feathers and yarn students and their families make some special friends to take home with them. Check out the party!
