Getting Ready for Museum Night
Every year, each K2 student picks a topic and becomes an "expert" on their subject. Kids choose everything from cheetahs and insects to photography and nursing. With their classroom teacher, they do research, learn vocabulary and practice answering questions. In KIDLAB, they design and build their own displays. It takes about 4 weeks to get everything in place and, boy, has the K2 been working hard! The big night is the first Thursday in June- get excited!
